Updates around COVID – 19
a. Agency Concerns around Staffing
i. McKinney-
One staff tested negative, staff are based at the hotels
ii. SA
– checking staff temp as well
iii. Cornerstone
– soup kitchen meals are being provided
b. Agency Concerns around clients – anyone in
isolation?
i. McKinney
– checking temp.
ii. SPI
– one client has strep throat, cold like symptoms, need to follow up. One
client needs assistance – symptomatic after 8pm.
iii. EH
– 1 mom is being swapped and will stay at the shelter for now
iv. SA
– checking all clients temp.
v. CRT
– telephonic services are being provided, looking into waiver facetime or zoom
c. Other critical concerns or update from
agencies
i. SPI
– need more toilet paper for hotels
ii. DMHAS
– looking to house one family today.
iii. DMHAS/
DOH- Waiver information will come out today and will be available for use. ESG
iv.
d. Client specific case conferencing as
necessary for hotel clients.
3. Other Concerns
a.
Hotels have TP on hold
b.
SA still discussing with provider about phones
c.
Need updated protocols for those who have
relocated to hotels
d.
GH Harm reduction (only Best Western Hotel) will
be available 24/7 and will have van 5 days a week
e.
Charter Oak will also provide services
f.
Narcan on site (24)
g.
Unsheltered List is being used
h.
COH Is not doing municipal ids at the moment
i.
United health Care will start to deliver
breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Deliveries are late afternoon for the next day.
Friday’s delivery will be for the weekend too. Mostly cold food that does not
have to be refrigerated. Dinner preferred? Yes.
